New Van by Peugeot

One thing can be said for sure on the latest vans of Partner series by Peugeot – these are compact vehicles with high aspirations. They are large, well built and quite economical. The only thing they do not present much is agility. Yet drivers get a lot of comfort in return. And businesses like small vans as the traffic is one big pain in the suburbia and urban areas. Moreover, light commercial vehicles consume less fuel than big tracks. The only problem is the available cargo space - not sufficient at times to accommodate everything that is to be carried. And the new vans by Peugeot are trying to face the payload challenges. The total available cargo capacity is at 850 kg, which is a number worth consideration. Partners come equipped with a diesel and petrol unit of the same capacity - 1.6 litres. Drivers may choose between the HDi diesel unit providing a horsepower of 90 and a 16v petrol engine generating 89 BHP. The acceleration from standstill to sixty miles per hour takes approximately 15.5 seconds with load on board. The cabin offers decent levels of comfort - passenger seats of Multi Flex type - and equipment – a CD stereo- so longer distances can easily be covered. Safety levels are at least satisfactory with driver’s airbag, power steering, remote locking and ABS. Peugeot Partner vans seem to be good solution for fleets- small and economic.
