A small city car – a used Honda Life.

When comes to the city driving, everyone wants to have a car that is roomy, comfortable and econmical, because in normal traffic there is no sense in having powerful machine. One of the cars that meets those demands was first introduced in 1997 and is of Japanese origin. Still available today as a used machine, a used Honda Life is a good choice for city cruising. A used Honda Life has a very recognizable silhouette, because it is rather tall, and yet thin construction. Equipped with a 660 cc three cylinder SOHC engine producing 47 horsepower, it is no competition for almost every other car when comes to acceleration or maximum speed, but when comes to the fuel consumption, a used Honda Life is one of the most economical cars of its time. The car is very light weight (1807 lbs = 820 kg) and is a standard front engine, front wheel drive construction. Transmission of a used Honda Life can be either a five speed manual one or a three speed automatic. Of course, performance of the automatic gearbox is lower, but with this little power it doesn’t really matter. Suspension consists of independent MacPherson struts at the front and a torsion beam at the rear, and the braking power is guaranteed by the discs at the front and drums at the rear.
